Editorial Policy

1. Transparent sources

   I buy the underwear I review, so the pairs you see here are ones I chose to spend my own money on and wear in my own life. Each review records where and when I obtained the pair when that information is available.

2. My opinions are my own

   I make the final call on each review from my own experience. A popular pair can disappoint me, and an unremarkable-looking one can become a favorite. I’ll explain why either happened, and I’m happy to change my mind when more wear gives me a reason.

3. Conclusions are based on multiple wears

   I build my reviews from repeated wear, movement, washing and the construction details that explain what I felt, rather than from a product description or a first impression. A pair needs to spend time in my ordinary life before I can say much about how it fits into a day, and I’ll tell you when there is something I haven’t tested.

4. I’m not trying to convince you

   I started writing these notes for myself because I wanted to understand what I liked, what bothered me and which pairs I would actually want to wear again. Sharing them gives you a look at my opinions and preferences, but it doesn’t mean I expect you to share them or buy the same underwear.

   A pouch I find too loose might be exactly the fit you have been looking for, just as the pressure I enjoy might be something you would rather avoid. I want to describe those differences clearly enough that you can make your own choice, even when it is different from mine.

5. Corrections and updates

   If I get a fact wrong, I correct it openly, and if more wear or washing changes my opinion, I add a dated update explaining what changed. A review should reflect what I know about the pair, without pretending that my first conclusion is permanent or changing the date simply to make the page look fresh.
